Know
About me

Coming from a background of hardware engineering, I possess a lot of design experience and the ability to adapt to new things as I go.

My strengths range from circuit design and low level programming to web development and automation.

Some of my favourite hobbies include football, basketball, escaperooms and videogames such as DotA 2. I enjoy competing at local tournaments in the Greater Toronto Area for fighting games such as fighterZ.

My
Experience

  • September 2013 - April 2017

    Computer Engineering - Guelph, ON

    University of Guelph

First discovered my love for computers shortly after I enrolled at the university of Guelph.
Took courses in hardware design, as well as circuits and low level programming (assembly and C).
Worked with wirless devices and sensors in creating practical systems.

  • June 2017 - December 2017

Full Stack Web Developer - Toronto, ON

    RBC

Worked to create a new website for RBC’s Investor and Treasury Department that is still used by the trading floor to organize data in tables/charts. The site also enables the user to upload/download files to specific pages such as: meetings, research, and to update trading books.

The site was comprised of the framework Django, and in turn the backend consisted of PostgreSQL (database) and Python. HTML, CSS and JavaScript were used for running the front-end of the site.

Implemented new webpages, backend logic and documented existing code in order to give new functionality, longevity and storage capabilities to the trading floor team.

Developed macros for things such as sorting documents to make other co-workers repetitive jobs easier.
